Career History

Lewis joined Kada Research in September 2022 after completing his MSc degree in Environmental Change and International Development at the University of Sheffield, having previously graduated from Sheffield Hallam in 2021 with first-class honours in International Business.

During his Masters, Lewis’ research focused on South America, during which time he travelled to Peru to explore the effects of climate change on traditional fishing, and to the Galapagos Islands where he researched the carbon footprint and effects of climate change on Isla Isabella.

Strengths and Experience 

Lewis’ key strengths are in quantitative and qualitative research and report writing. He is also experienced in conducting interviews with a variety of stakeholders, as well as using GIS software to map socio economic data.

Outside of Work

Outside of work Lewis is an avid rock climber and hill walker. You will often find him out in the Peak District, and to complement these hobbies Lewis has developed a keen eye for photography. When the weather isn’t as pleasant, Lewis enjoys cooking and baking.

Interesting Fact

At university Lewis was the founder and President of Hallam Yoga Society, which continues to successfully operate to this day.
