Career History

Prisca has a strong background in research, project management, and international development. At the University of Sheffield, she led the research and evaluation for the “Make It Grow” project and contributed to the “Co-Creating Change Towards Sustainable Food Systems” project, collaborating with communities, NGOs, and academics. Her experience includes high-impact projects in fragile and emerging economies, focusing on livelihoods, resilience, skills development, women’s empowerment, and food systems. Prisca has also managed consulting projects for major development organisations such as the UN Capital Development Fund, the International Labour Organisation, the Mastercard Foundation, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the Commonwealth Secretariat and others.

She’s built a solid track record working across international development and economic growth, partnering with local authorities, universities, and global organisations like the World Bank, MasterCard Foundation, and the Commonwealth Secretariat. Her work spans digital innovation, food systems, financial inclusion, labour markets, and inclusive growth.

Experience

Prisca has extensive research experience and previously led research and evaluation at the University of Sheffield’s Institute of Sustainable Food, supporting community-led innovation and publishing key insights. Her earlier experience includes international development roles with Asigma Group and KPMG.

Skills

Prisca has a masters degree in International Development from University of Sheffield where she received the prestigious best dissertation award. She also holds an honours first class degree from University College London (UCL). Prisca is skilled in stakeholder engagement, qualitative and quantitative analysis and since joining Kada has been delivering various projects including strategy work, sector analysis and investment evaluations.

Outside of Work

Outside of work Prisca enjoys hiking, discovering new walking trails and playing board games.

Interesting Fact

Prisca recently discovered a new passion for canoeing, and it’s been quite the adventure! This past summer, she embarked on a week-long journey along Scotland’s Great Glen Way. She paddled through 124 kilometres of canals and lochs by day and camped under the stars by night. The wild camping part was particularly eye-opening—she learned that a tent doesn’t come with room service or a hot shower. Who knew that a sleeping bag and a few midges could make for such an unforgettable experience?
