Career History
Beth joined Kada Research in May 2025 after graduating from the University of Leeds with an Economics and Mathematics degree. During her studies, she completed modules in project appraisal and economic development, completing her final year dissertation on the Gender Pay Gap vs The Family Gap using statistical software (STATA). Beth gained experience in the financial service industry after undertaking a placement and a full-time position at KPMG in corporate tax. Her role consisted of preparing corporate tax returns, undertaking risk assessments and researching the ever-changing landscape of tax policy. In 2024 she made the decision to pivot to a role in economic development to pursue her interest in sustainability and socioeconomic impact.
Strengths & Experience
Beth has skills in data analysis and quantitative research. Since joining Kada, Beth has undertaken data reviews and business case appraisal. Beth also has experience in econometrics that she gained during her degree.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, Beth enjoys socialising with friends and loves travelling to new countries – next on her list is Copenhagen. She likes playing word games and doing crosswords.
Interesting Fact
Beth has a great memory and can list 50 digits of pi and all 197 countries.
